GORDON H. KOLB and LINDA N. KOLB have been in the Commercial Real Estate/ Development field since 1969. On December 13, 1978, they incorporated GORDON H. KOLB DEVELOPMENTS, INC. as a company domiciled in New Orleans, Louisiana to be involved in the acquisition, development, ownership, and sale of commercial and income producing properties. On December 1, 1989, they changed the name to G.H.K. DEVELOPMENTS, INC., which has now become the parent company.
In 2002, Gordon H. Kolb, Jr. joined the firm after graduating from Woodberry Forest School in 1998 and then the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2002 where he received a BA in Communication Studies. Mr. Kolb, Jr. became President of G.H.K. Developments, Inc. in 2015 and currently oversees the daily operation of the company which involves developments for Walgreens, Publix Grocery Stores, Self-Storage Facilities, as well as some medical office building developments.
Mr. Kolb, Jr. is actively involved in the community and has worked or currently works on boards such as Trinity Episcopal Church Vestry, Trinity Episcopal School Board of Trustees, Woodberry Forest School Advisory Board, Louisiana Children’s Museum Executive Committee, First Horizon Bank Advisory Board and other. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Holt and their two sets of twins. They enjoy fishing, cooking, and spending time outside.
At present, G.H.K. Developments, Inc. has developed over 5,000,000 square feet of gross leasable area at a cost over $600,000,000.
G.H.K Developments, Inc. was invited by Walgreen’s to build the 5,000th store in Richmond, Virginia as well as the 6,000th store in New Orleans, Louisiana. Amongst other projects, G.H.K Developments, Inc. has developed over 100+ stores for Walgreens.
