Gordon H. Kolb and Linda N. Kolb founded Gordon H. Kolb Real Estate in 1972 as a commercial and industrial brokerage in southern Louisiana. In 1978, they incorporated Gordon H. Kolb Developments, Inc. as a company domiciled in New Orleans, Louisiana, to be involved in the acquisition, development, ownership, and sale of commercial and income-producing properties.

Company History
In 1989, the company’s name was changed to GHK Developments, Inc., which has now become the parent company. Gordon Kolb, Jr. joined the company in January 2003. Today he oversees the project management, project coordination and daily operations of the company.
In our history, GHK Developments, Inc. has developed almost three million square feet of gross leasable area. GHK Developments, Inc. has built the 5,000th store for Walgreens in Richmond, Virginia, as well as the 6,000th store in New Orleans, Louisiana.
